Hornsea is a small seaside resort and town on the coast of the East Yorkshire, England. It is approximately 25 miles from Bridlington by road but inaccessible by trains due to the line to Hull been closed due to Mr Beeching in the 1960’s.

Very much the same as other resorts in the area including Withernsea to the south, Bridlington, Filey and Scarborough to the north, Hornsea has a seafront promenade with shops, cafes and restaurants selling fish and chips, ice cream, bucket and spades and other traditional seaside requirements.
