Beverley is a market town and the county town of the East Yorkshire (full title is the East Riding of Yorkshire), England.
The town is noted for the large Beverley Minster, Beverley Westwood, the North Bar original gate at the north edge of the town centre (a 15th-century gatehouse), Beverley Racecourse and one of the oldest grammar school in the country called Beverley Grammar School.
As well as Beverley Racecourse and its traditionally held markets, the town of Beverley is also known today for hosting of various music festivals held throughout the year, and also some food festivals.
